Genesis 3:16 - ...and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
To understand this, compare Genesis 4:7 - "If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him."
Sin's desire is to rule over a man, but that man is given the task of ruling over sin. So likewise then in Genesis 3:16, woman's desire after the curse is to rule over her husband, but he is still to be the ruler. Part of her judgment for her role in the Fall is that she is no longer content to be the help meet for him; she desires to rule him. Feminism, marital strife, lack of submission - these are all a curse on the woman. She thinks she will be happy if she rules over the man but in fact she will be more miserable in that case.
