The Righteous Perisheth

Isaiah 57:1 The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

NOTE: Not just in death, as here, but in all events is God's plan for our good. Notice that "no man layeth it to heart" but instead we ask "Why?" In the New Testament era, now with indwelling Holy Spirit help, we can instead assure ourselves with Romans 8:28.

Psalm 44:22 - Yea, for thy sake are we killed all the day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter.
