Notes in Matthew Chapter Eight

Matthew 8:2-3 - And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.  And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

"If thou wilt!"  Example of seeking the Lord to work within His will.  "Thy will be done."  Answer, "I will."

Matthew 8:14 - Peter was married.  But RCC claims him as first Pope; claims apostolic succession from him; claims clergy must be unmarried.  Claims do not add up together!
