Genesis 24:33 - And there was set meat before him to eat: but he said, I will not eat, until I have told mine errand. And he said, Speak on.
Business before pleasure! No wonder this faithful man was made steward of all that Abraham had (verse 10).
Genesis 24:50 - "Then Laban and Bethuel answered and said..."
Why Laban, Rebekah's brother, one with authority to decide on her marriage if her father Bethuel still living? Verse 50, "answered" verb is singular. Perhaps Laban speaking on behalf of his elderly father Bethuel. Others suppose Bethuel dead and this is Bethuel, Jr., so "their sister" in verse 59. See John Gill's commentary here.
Genesis 24:67 - "...and Isaac was comforted after his mother's death."
This being about three years after her death. (Sarah bare Isaac at age 90 and died at 127, so Isaac was 37 at her death. Isaac married at age 40, Genesis 25:20).
