Note on Abram's Lie about Sarai

Genesis 12:13 - Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee.

Example of parents to children: Sarai was his half-sister, but also his wife, so his deception is a half-truth.  Note at Genesis 26:7, with Isaac making same lie about Rebekah who was not his sister: The parent's half truth becomes the child's whole lie.
